We began our agricultural activity in 2012 on a land of 14 hectares, which we gradually expanded over the years. Today, we cultivate 40 hectares. Initially, we focused solely on industrial crops, until—following my uncle’s advice—we started growing oil pumpkins. The first years were undoubtedly challenging, as this new crop required different harvesting machinery. In 2014, we began building our own drying facility, and by then we had acquired all the specialized equipment needed for pumpkin seed production. Alongside this, we grew winter barley, wheat and maize as part of our crop rotation. In 2014, we decided to convert to organic production, and after the two‑year transition period, most of our land received organic certification in 2016. By that time, we had established a contract with an oil press in Veszprém, who continue to ensure the quality of our pumpkin seed oil to this day. Over the years, we have continuously developed our machinery fleet, and by 2023 we were able to invest in a precision hoeing machine. In 2022, we launched a new cooperation programme with the plant‑breeding company AGROSEL. We began by producing pepper seed for them, and today we also grow seed for various pumpkin varieties, with pea seed production added from 2024 onwards. Looking ahead, we hope to expand with our own packaging facility and invest in a refrigerated warehouse.
